Behaviour & Conduct

Aggressive, disruptive, or abusive behaviour — including the use of inappropriate language — will not be tolerated. Anyone displaying such behaviour will be asked to leave the Centre immediately. Refusal to comply, or repeated misconduct, may result in a ban from Dalby Shoppingworld.


Health & Wellbeing

Sharing germs isn't cool - Our staff can't host activities if they become unwell.

To ensure the safety of all staff, participants & to keep our events running smoothly - If you or your child/ren are experiencing symptoms such as runny noses, coughs, fevers, or any other signs of illness, please stay home to rest and recover.


If you or your child/ren are noticebly showing symptoms of being unwell whilst entering, you may be asked to return for another session when you have recovered.

For booked activities, please contact us to reschedule once you are well again*

*Dalby Shoppingworld cannot guarantee any change of date requests if activities are at full capacity.



General Rules

  • No food or drink is permitted inside the fenced activity area.
  • Prams and trolleys must be parked in the designated area near the activity entry when available.
  • A parent or guardian must remain present at all times while children participate.
  • Children aged 5 and under must be assisted by a parent or guardian at all times. Some workshops may have additional safety requirements** Please view parental guidance disclaimer at the bottom of the page.
  • One activity per child per workshop period, unless different crafts are offered each day.
  • Example: If the same craft runs for 3 days, a child may attend once. If 3 different crafts run over 3 days, a child may attend each day.
  • All activities must be completed on site - staff cannot provide any crafting materials to take home for competion nor can they provide additionals for siblings, grandchildren etc. This ensures fairness & maximum availability for all children who have visited to participate in centre.
  • Some materials in our workshops may not be suitable for all children without parental guidance. By participating, you agree to supervise your child/ren at all times.



Activities Requiring Bookings

  • Multiple bookings for the same child across alternate days may result in cancellation of all bookings.
  • If you are 5 minutes late, a staff member will try to phone you on your supplied number to check in.
  • If you are more than 10 minutes late to a booked session and staff cannot contact you, your spot may be offered to children on the waitlist or walk‑ins. This will also be recorded in accaordance with our No-Show policy.


If You Can’t Attend a Booked Activity

We understand that plans change. If you are unable to attend your booked session, please let us know so we can offer your place to another child — our activities often book out quickly and waitlists can be lengthy.

No‑Show Policy & Register For Confirmed Bookings

  • To ensure fairness for all families, no-shows & or bookings more than 10 minutes late with no contact will result in the booking being recorded in our No-Show register.
  • Multiple no‑show bookings for free activities will result in a 6‑month exclusion period from workshops & activities at Dalby Shoppingworld. The recorded guardian will be notified via the confirmed booking email, that they & the child/ren named on recorded bookings will be unable to book or attend any free activities during the exclusion period.
  • Any bookings attempted to be made by excluded persons & or child/ren during their exclusion period will be denied by Dalby Shoppingworld.




**⚠️ Parental Guidance Disclaimer

Some workshop materials and equipment may not be suitable for younger children and could pose potential hazards if used without appropriate supervision.

Dalby Shoppingworld staff are unable to provide one‑on‑one supervision, as they will be assisting multiple children throughout the workshop. Parents and guardians must remain present and actively supervise their child for the duration of the activity.

By participating in any activity / workshop at our centre, you acknowledge that certain items may not be suitable for your child’s use but have chosen to continue with full parental guidance and accept responsibility for supervising your child at all times.

Dalby Shoppingworld and its staff take all reasonable care in delivering safe and enjoyable activities; however, we accept no responsibility for any harm, injury, or hazards that may arise due to a child’s age, ability, or use of materials provided.
